Branding the inaugural event for education leaders

With 78% of vocational education and training (VET) graduates employed after training, compared with 69% of recent bachelor graduates, the Educational Pathways Program offers an attractive alternative to university.

The Educational Pathways Program

Head teachers and education officers from across the state met for a two-day conference on vocational education and training. The Education Pathways Program guides students, parents and educators to post-high-school education and career possibilities. This inaugural conference gave focus to the importance of school-based training, to foster world-class careers for students. We branded all aspects of the event, including signage, invitations, promotions and merchandise.

Illustrating educational pathways

Inspired by building blocks, we created a collection of students entering different careers. Complying with the NSW Government Master Brand Guidelines restricted colour palette, our modular illustration featured ladders to represent the pathway opportunities.

Branding the way forward

We produced an array of digital and printed assets for the event, from presentation templates to generous goodie bags. The feedback from delegates was very positive, and the illustrated assets were used to brand future presentations and pull-up banners. Photography courtesy of the NSW Department of Education.

Our designs and event collateral received overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees and organisation leaders. The illustrative style created for the event has now been adopted into the Educational Pathways Program visual identity.
