Designing for dynamic discovery
We developed an organic graphic structure inspired by the intricate cellular forms found in heart tissue, reflecting the complexity of Victor Chang’s scientific research. Complementing this is a bold colour palette that draws inspiration from the natural hues found in muscle, cells, and veins. The visual identity was applied to templates in Canva and Microsoft Office, providing scientists with tools designed to communicate their research and its impact effectively.
Thirty years of heart and vision
The anniversary logo marks three decades as one of the most respected heart research facilities in the world. The dynamic design highlights the Institute’s forward-thinking and dedication to the next 30 years as the home of heart research. As a nod to the traditional 30th-anniversary gift, we embraced a pearlescent colour palette whilst the continuous ribbon symbolises the Institute’s ongoing commitment to cardiovascular research and life-saving treatment.
