Lifeline
An annual report to narrate Lifeline’s most challenging year
As Australians survived bushfires, storms and a global pandemic in FY2021, Lifeline took over 1,000,000 crisis calls.
An illustrated new look for a difficult year
We developed a new illustration style for the 2021 Annual Report, carrying the Lifeline story into the next chapter of offering support. With confidentiality being a guiding principle, silhouettes allowed us to convey stories of survivors, without revealing their identity. The report’s cover depicts a help-seeking youth, communicating via text message with the Lifeline support worker portrayed in sunny yellow.

Reaching more people online and by text
For young Australian’s, text and chat are the preferred communication channels, so Lifeline has embraced these new ways to reach out. Website interfaces and text messaging bubbles are drawn with a distinctly human wobble in Lifeline’s distinctive colour palette.
Messages of hope and achievement
Our illustrations and infographics accompany stories of fundraising successes. Media partnerships and community outreach programs were punctuated with the amount of lives impacted.
Reaching further on social media
Working closely with the Communications Team, Another Colour delivered a set of social media assets pro bono. The video and carousel assets shared success stories and results, with Lifeline in a position to offer even more services in the future.
Supporting more Australians than ever before. Anyone, anytime, anywhere.
