Aim

Each year Thredbo host activities for guests that range from family fun nights, downhill ski challenges, photography competitions to snowboarding displays. These engaging experiences are seasonal and although short-term, require a branding campaign to capture the attention of and bring in big crowds.

Method

We enticed people with colourful, youthful graphics, whilst remaining sympathetic to the existing Thredbo brand that their audience is familiar with. For the 2014 ski season, five logos were created and applied across printed and online mediums. Each event was distinct in its own right but were not too dissimilar that they couldn't be viewed as a set.

Results

When attendance is high for these special events you can be assured that the ski-loving crowd and new attendees to the slopes will partake in the events of following years through positive experience and word-of-mouth advertising.
