Aim

The design-led QT brand creates a unique personality for each of its hotels and when it threw open its doors in Sydney it was with a kooky and edgy nod to the city’s cool set. Working with the hotel team from pre-opening, our role was to introduce QT Sydney's quirky personality to its new neighbourhood.

Method

For the launch we artfully directed the event photography and categorised the images into different albums with cheeky titles. The photos were published in the Sydney Morning Herald and the albums posted to social media generating buzz around the QT experience. We also created a QT Life email newsletter that directed traffic to the QT Life blog, written by Benjamen Judd, celebrating the best of urban culture.

Results

As QT Sydney team’s go-to partner for its campaign and event marketing our team also produced spaQ e-newsletters, advertising and a Christmas card playing on the Director of Chaos hotel meeters-and-greeters as festive angels.
