Aim

Beachside Breaks is not your ordinary holiday letting company: it offers 5-star holiday experiences for all of its guests, and a comprehensive rental property management service for the owners.

We were challenged with designing a visual brand identity, including all the supporting branding assets, that captured Australia's unique coastal lifestyle, and helped differentiate this brand.

Method

A brand workshop was conducted to ascertain the start-up’s audience, points of difference and values.

From the concepts we presented to the client, this simple but elegant logo was considered strongest – capturing a sunrise over the ocean within a location pin.

The logo was accompanied by a series of minimalist illustrations made from a beach-inspired colour palette depicting quintessential seaside experiences. We designed a dynamic stationery set using these illustrations – each business card featuring a unique illustration.

We coined the company’s slogan (Holiday Homes – Hotel Hospitality) and developed a suite of marketing collateral including direct mail promotions, advertising, social media assets and a website concept.

Result

The fresh design has resonated with the market with the first round of advertising and direct mail promotions resulting in the company’s rapid growth in an impressive portfolio of properties. This project was awarded a Design and Design International Award in January 2016.
